Also, don't exclude some of the hazardous goods drums that have had things
such as hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid and nitric acid. I have used those
blue plastic drums after emptying the original chemicals out of them (I
used to work at a chemical place). To the acid drums I would add
something alkaline to neutralize it and after that I never had any
troubles. Peroxide drums can simply be rinsed out really well. I used
them for aging water for several years.
