no bruce... santa claus was not there. i guess your gonna have to mail your
letter northward... if you've been good boy.
 
bob... snorkel season starts as soon as you want it too. but you gotta
really want it. :)
i guess the earliest ive been in is march... but the month of may begins to
be comfortable.
the sooner the better tho because of breeding activity. ( tho many fish
continue in breeding color til mid summer. )
and a full body wetsuit w/ hood, socks and gloves add to cold durability as
well as body fat, like a walrus.
the best time for non snorkelers to get hooked tho is in july and august as
the water is almost cool bath water. very nice. dont even need a wetsuit.
 
chip... wish you could experience it. the conasauga is so nice. if i got 2
or 3 folks interested i would try to organize a camping type trip similiar
to the sipsey / borden creek trip.
