Hi Doug & other interested parties

I hope you can make it. I am not the best at identification, but I have
collected redfin pickerel, fundulus olivaceous, at least 3 different kinds
of chubs, as well as some shiners that look like silverjaws and a variety
of sunfish & darters from this site. In both cases I was collecting alone,
so I'm sure a group effort would bring in much better samples. Just from
looking at distribution maps of the area I see that there should also be
shadow bass and it appears to be on the extreme limits for welaka. (What do
ya' think, BG?). Personally, I would make the trip just for those nasty
pickerel. (-:

As for the trip mileage, the closest town is Louvale, just a bit closer to
you than Ft. Benning.

am, I would most certainly like to join you.

up, we could reasonably call that 300 miles.) I'm not sure if I'd head up
there Friday or just leave early-early on Saturday, but I'd certainly stay
over Sat. night in the area, hopefully do some more collecting Sunday
morning, and leave (as late as possible !!!) Sunday afternoon.
