Martin :

There was a medium sized stream with a bridge across it around Kiln,
Miss. You took Hwy 90 out of N.O. toward the Gulf Coast, then when you
reached the road to Kiln took a left, drove until you got the
stream/river parked on the other side went down the left down the stream
about 5 blocks. You then went up to the top of the bank and a little
back to a pond. It was filled with spatterdock and a few water mocks,
lovely animals.

Please keep in mind this was 30 or so
years ago. I need to go back there and
see if it is still there.There were also darters and notropis in the
stream. Was real pretty but that was then......I don't
know if when they built the I-10 it affected the stream or the area
around it. I intend to check it out in the next couple of weeks and let
you know.
