NANFA-- Darterfest 2001 cancelled!

I just saw the announcement on the ASIH site that Darterfest 2001, in NC,
has been cancelled for lack of pre-registration. It was scheduled for the
end of April, including Saturday April 28. Last year Darterfest was at the
University of Georgia, immediately after the EEEF 2000 meeting hosted by
NANFA member Gene Helfman.

I hadn't even heard about this year's meeting until a week ago when someone
told me they couldn't go on the Colochee Creek collecting trip because it
was the same day as Darterfest (April 28). Maybe we should offer to host
Darterfest as part of the NANFA convention next year...
