BIOQUIP had a great dip net at one time. Very well made but a little on the
small side for the opening. I still carry it in the car; it has a break down
handle that is very well made. I think they are pretty much the main
supplier of entemological supplies for the US. I have a couple of their well
made nets for collecting insect specimens as well. They normally get a free
catalog out to you pretty quickly.

Carolina Biological (www.carolina.com) has a good selection, too. Their
catalog no. WW-65-1344 is a pretty good one for fish catching and it's only
$24.95. We have several at work that have stood up fairly well to lots of
use and abuse from staff and students. >>
