Martin, I considered that, but in my experiences with ich, it just didn't
look like this. It may be, but it's surprising that the other fish species in
the same aquarium aren't infected. I bathed a couple of the fish in salt
water & although the immediate impact was to have a very subdued fish, the
following day there was a noticeable decline in the amount of 'dandruff'.
