Sometimes disease walks through a tank via the pecking order (bottom up).
That suggests though that if the fish are given a chance, in a number of
cases, their immune systems can pull them through the crisis.

Keep frequently making partial water changes. As you undoubtedly know, (but
maybe a newer person needs to discover) don't use the siphon or bucket with
any other tank. :)
