I know it's late, but I'd like to chime in on this one.
I don't much approve of using the Sodium Thiosulfate for chlorine
removal. Hover, my reason is a bit different than any I've seen
mentioned here yet:
It tastes HORRIBLE!
First, consider that a fish has a sense of taste and smell often
millions of times more sensitive than that of humans.
Next, taste one drop of Sodium Thiosulfate. Have a puke bucket handy.
Now, do you really want to subject your poor fishies to this torture?

It also raises the sulfate hardness of the water. Probably not a big
deal in any way, but who knows?
