This gets even better... The University of Toledo students finally had class all together this week (yesterday) since the we ran the field trip and had the in house follow up. I'll just put in the forwarded sound byte:

"You shoulda heard them in class yesterday - Joel was telling the others " honest to god they wanted to keep those river fish - I couldn't believe it!" and everyone says - "I thought for sure they wouldn't hold their interest " I just sat there and smiled. "

Looks like I'm going to continue to work with these kids too. I made myself available and the director was glad I offered. I think a soon next stop will be "Central City Guerilla Gardening - Taking Back the Land with Native Flowers" :)
