Good excerpt, Jay; a discussion can open over what is the smallest native
fish in North America. The least killifish, Heterandria formosa, is a
contender (to 1.5 in./3.6 cm) while the pygmy killifish, Leptolucania
ommata, is probably the true midget in N.A. at 1.25 in./2.9 cm.

I've been to various Patti Smith performances over the years, both full
electric band and spoken word. Hearing her recite a list of fish names, both
common and binomial, would at least be interesting if not downright killer.
Maybe a new album as a sequel to "Radio Ethiopia" from years ago--"Radio
Notropis"?
