Interesting recollections.

I wonder how much history regarding the 'nuts-and-bolts' of the aquarium
hobby will survive. Unlike other hobbies (e.g., post cards, photography,
stereoscopy, etc.), the artifacts associated with the aquarium hobby either
do not have the appeal or do not survive long-enough to achieve collectible
status. Also, with the exception of a few books, the technologies
associated with the aquarium hobby do not seem to be very well-documented.
