Hello All,

I have recently decided to never check on a styro again. I now use a 70
quart cooler with wheels and a pull handle. Make sure to tape it shut and
tape down the pull handle, and to also tape the drain (if your model has
one). I have never arrived home from a convention with all my boxes intact.
usually people complaining at the baggage check of wet luggage is my first
clue that one or more of my boxes has been crushed. The cooler method is
much sturdier. My cooler from a recent collecting trip arrived cracked, but
intact.

Harry,

I would bring canvas shoes, it's really too warm for waders.

Bring along a carry-on bag and some fish-bags for transporting fish as
carry-on
luggage, unless you want to bring more than a carry-on will hold, in which
case a styrofoam box could be checked as baggage. A standard fish-shipping
box works great!

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
