One thing to keep in mind about greenside darters, they're essentially
nocturnal in the wild. I do alot of snorkeling in streams with these (and
many other) darters. The greensides are almost always under large slab-rocks
durnig the day, and sitting on top of these rocks at night. Maybe why they're
scarce during the day in your tank.
