Thanks for the comment on the field survey sheet. I thought Jay's
suggestion was an excellent one that amateurs could use to gather
important field data. One does not have to have a Masters or Phd to be
observant, contrary to some opinions. This would be a good tool to keep
for observations through out the year on a given biotope to see what /if
changes occur.
You are correct that a picture is worth a thousand words, it did not
occur to me to add this to the list...but... it would be a valuable
addition. Thanks for the suggestion. I fully intend to work up a sheet
to take with me on future "field expeditions". Who knows what good can
come of it.
