Not esox, but umbrids. It was the same thing as was mentioned with the
crappie. It really helped I got one that just loved carnivore ( the sinking
kind) pellets. These and tetra bits. Once one took to them, the rest would
quickly as well, since muds seem really jealous. I could add muds later on
and they would act like they been eating pellets all along. Try those
sinking carnivore pellets though, and if they don't even notice them, try
them on a fine wire, so you can swim them around.
