The current Currents arrived today . Are you reading
yours Chip ?
I can sit in my living room and watch out the window
for birds and butterflys and lizards and ( today ) a
big female turtle on the lawn and in a few weeks the
annual tarantula walk . To see native fish in their
native habitat takes more effort . Invisibility is a
drawback --as some think--to fish watching . Look at a
body of water and often thats all you will see , just
water . Not all of us can collect native fish , where
we live , to enjoy at home . I belive the no
collecting regulations are due to flawed thinking at
best but like most government messes they will
probably remain .Thats why I so liked the snorkeling
story in American Currents . Snorkeling by our very
own gang --led onward by Casper and Steve--
has been generating interesting posts for some time
now . Sure would be nice if our guys and gals could
get together with some kids groups to introduce them
the invisible fishes . Snorkeling in Michigan was a
marvelous read Chris .Now back to the rest of the
stories .
