fish campers...
ive been studying my map and route to tishomingo state park. it should be a
nice drive and the park looks beautiful according to the website. ive marked
several back road bridge crossings on my alabama gazateer... easy places to
stop and look at the water for possibilities. ive also got a few springs
picked out. as a backup plan for sunday a swing up to shoal creek just e of
zip city alabama. it was beautiful a few years ago when i snorkled there and
i would like to again. scott mettee had recomended it to me for its clarity
and variety.
ranger bob and i are planning on arriving at the state park friday late
afternoon and we will take our time wandering down checking out sites as we
get closer.
martin... what are the miss regs on seine sizes?
do you know where the srbd will be?
have you been to any sites in this area?
have you ever done the canoe trip down bear creek? it is offered by the state
park. a couple or 3 hours in a canoe may be interesting.
im getting jazzed for this!
