Ranger Bob,
I missed you in Michigan. You shoulda gone. I use MS222 on Apache trout
and have never had any problems, but will try the clove oil since I have
lots of it. I use it to protect my swords (Japanese type) and have felt the
anesthesia effect when I got a little cut from a really sharp blade. It
just sort of felt like running a finger nail along the skin, but nooooo, it
bled.
I will try to report the results. If not remind me.

Hi all,

About a month ago, there was a thread on using clove oil as a fish
anesthetic. Well, I tried it today and it worked wonderfully.
