Once upon a time, this fellow from Idaho-ho-ho went fish collecting with me.

We happened upon this 3 footer, a little gator but with plenty of dentation!
It was stuck in a 4X4 " grating that was attached to a culvert. It was all
the way up to just behind it's jaws into the square steel grating and seemed
to be exhausted from its struggles to get free, but evidently was still
ready to bite!

After Gator and I surveyed the situation, knowing that our decision would
mean life or death for this critter, Bruce took the situation (er: the
gator) in hand and freed it from its predicament! I say "it" because after
just a brief inspection, Bruce "Gator" Scott released it back into the swamp
and we didn't stop to discern its sex. The last we say of this gator was the
backwash from its rapidly churning tail!
