Thanks for the help.

They've all got those vertical bands on them like the two other pictures
(and hundreds of fish that I swear that I've caught and looked at, but not
photographed). I wasn't sure if they were bluegills or what... I was kind
of hoping that they were something that would become more colourful when
full grown because it seems that the whole school of these fishes is of the
same species. The only specimens that I can find in that location are of
other species are of adult size and I don't think that I have enough skill
at balancing water parameters and providing adequate live food over the long
haul (through the winter, specifically).
