Actually, the bird Xmas count is held before the holidays. This year it was
on December 16. I am open to suggestions of "fish count" dates because it
has to be suitable around the country. I would avoid major holidays and the
weekends immediately before and after them because of competition for
participants' time. Other thoughts out there on timing?
