Now you've got me thinking about these shrimp!

Here's a statement from a shrimp page:

River shrimp Macrobrachium ohione are the most common freshwater shrimp in
Louisiana and can be found in the Atchafalaya and lower Mississippi Rivers,
where almost all of the current production is used for bait.

Wonder if BG runs into these. Perhaps we need to go visit to find out ;-)
