I think the worst part of it is that exactly that happened...a fisheries biologist captured it during an electroshocking survey and misidentified it and released it. Wonder what happened to his position....

I know here in ohio dealing along the same lines...ODNR was hounding us (me and co workers) on a survey of the mahoning river about bigheaded carp because of a similar accidental release, bad info, improper handling, etc....
