To figure out how much your 60 watt pump uses, here is what you do:

It takes 16.6 hrs for a 60 watt pump to use 1 Kilowatt (1000 watts)-- [1000
divided by 60 is equal to 16.6] There are 720 hours in a 30 day period
[24hrs x 30 days]. So 720 hrs divided by 16.6 is equal to 43.37 Kilowatt
hours each month for that pump. If each KWhour costs $.10, then it will
cost $4.34 per 30 days [$.10 x 43.37 = $4.34]. Look on your electric bill
to find out how much each KW hour costs you. I pay 4 and one half cents per
KW hour.
