Mike,

We tried to sample all possible habitats, but I was concentrating on slow
runs with abundant leafpack.

I'm surprised you haven't gotten any stripebacks yet. What size seine are
you using? If you are out by yourself, you might consider snorkelling with
an aquarium net (6" or 8")... for many Percina species, this is the most
effective sampling technique if the water is clear.
