...I agree. While the past record was less than stellar, Kansas too is
making some outstanding efforts now and starting to see good results. One
such project is a zone in the Delaware River drainage of my home county
(Jefferson) in which Atrazine can no longer be used. Many other such
efforts and wetlands projects are in the works. Schemerhorn Cave in the
extreme S.E. part of the state, Marais De cygnes wildlife area and
countless wetland and riparian restoration projects ongoing throughout the
state. Kansas is moving forward.
