I did have a thick mat of floating duck weed before the golden shineres
were introduced. they ate it, but the orange spots acted the same way when
the weeds were there and the shiners were not. I guess it was a trade off.
When the shiners get spooked, the sunfish all hide. they were fine , but
now the shienrs are seeming to be spooked by me easier. I guess its time
for a water change, that may be the problem.
