Thanks Martin.
Here is a little background on the plant. I recieved it from another
NANFA member over a year ago. It has leaves about 1.5 inches around, and are
a little bit egg shaped. I planted it in the gravel in my tank after
acclimating it. It grew slowly at first, if at all, which I heard is
typical of them. Then after placing some golden shiners in the tank to
clear out the duckweed and algae, more light hit them, and they really
started growing, not like super fast, but compared to what they were doing.
Then after a couple weeks now of the tank being brighter from no shadows
other than that of hornwort, it sent up the spike. Neat, I took a picture
but dont know how it will turn out. If I ever get some spare time and get my
web site up, I will show it, if it turns out that is. I should video tape
it, I could pull a picture off the tape and display it.
