Hi group -

Back in the late 1970s when I was working on the Atlas of North American
Fishes, I visited the University of Georgia to get their fish records.
Dr. Don Scott was the ichthyologist there at that time and he was
planning on doing the "Fishes of Georgia". As with so many unfunded
projects it kept being put on the back burner. Later, Dr. Bud Freeman
joined the faculty at UGA and he was going to collaborate with Don on
the project. Unfortunately, Don passed away and Bud has gotten heavily
involved in a number of ichthyological projects, including robust
redhorse. Dr. Chris Skelton is now with the GA Nongame Section and
might be a good contact for a species list.
