Eh, no, but neither is he a "real" ichthyologist, but rather a behavioral
ecologist specialising in fishes. When I left (1986) they were putting up a
new $20M facility just for the smashers. The classical zoologists?
Relagated to the "crypt" (i.e. the basement of the old biology buiding).
