Hi All:

Jay and others suggested that the Native Fishes Display we are using in the
Central Florida Region and which I sent via hard copy to the other regional
reps may be of interest to other NANFA members. The reason for the hard copy
was because the file is quite large, some 7.6 mb, which can take a lot of
time to download with a phone modem. If anyone is interested in a download,
let me know and I will e-mail a copy, and if that is not practical for you,
I will send you one via snail mail.

Thanks Jay, Mike and others for the interest. The display Mike Thennet is
designing is super - and after it is done, we can share that one as well.

The new revision of the Florida Collecting Guide is going to press in the
next four weeks. This version includes more photos, a new section on
collectable Florida native plants, a very small section on invertebrates
that will be expanded by future supplements, and GPS data on all collecting
sites. We also include a thumbnail sumamry of breeding and maintenance
information on virtually all of the Florida freshwater natives. This
revision is set up to be easily updated in the future. There will be a
discount for holders of the first issue. All of the profits are donated,
with the Lion's share going to NANFA, and smaller shares to the Central
Florida Regional Group and the Suncoast Killifish Society whose members did
most of the heavy lifting on the project. Look for a formal announcement on
this list and the NANFA and AKA sites in the near future.

Regards to all,

Charlie Nunziata
