Getting into this thread a little late I know, if you all in the Ohio area
really want to take a cool canoe trip why don't you come over here to Erie
PA and do a float trip down French Creek. No Dams no motor boats just miles
over canoeable water. You can also rent canoes here very cheaply float down
stream and then the rental place will pick you up and drive you back to
your car. Its a great trip less than 2 hours away from Cleveland OH,
Pittsburgh PA, and Buffalo New York.
