Jan replies:
Not including modern accounts, I only know of published descriptions for the
upper and lower Mississippi fisheries....but that kind of information
frequently winds up in obscure places. Veronica Pitman, TPW, wrote about
paddlefish in the Lone Star state, including (I believe) historical
accounts. I have requested her material from ILL. Will let you know if and
when I find out.
