At about 15" mine was strong enough to knock the glass cover off of
his tank and dry up on the floor. Actually, he was still
"breathing", but too far gone to recover. Just as well, I suppose,
since I was not doing this true monster justice in terms of
accomodations. Anyone in the south with a nice farm pond could enjoy
such as beast. A tame one at 8 feet would be a great pet to show off
to friends :) A disposer for unwanted rodents? Kind of like an
alligator that can't crawl away. Cool!
