...definately...lepomis is such a mish mash of things in the wild so many times...all the fish surveys I took part in this year usually found 2-5 lepomis species and almsot always there was one species hybridized for every two found...its just natural ... when things spawn on the same substrate at the same time it happens...milt and eggs are just spewed into an aquatic environment in most cases so of course its not going to be selective...its also a method of evolutionary diversion.
