<< Actually I was able to keep some in a slightly modified aquarium a couple
of years ago. As I recall, the medusae lived about 3 weeks or so. I got
some info from a professor (can't recall his name offhand) on his method of
keeping the polyps and producing medusae. Unfortunately, I have not gotten
around to collecting any polyps, though. >>

That's cool, I've never even heard of anyone attempting to keep NA freshwater
jellyfish before! What were the modifications you're referring to?
