To learn about similar habitat, get the book " Fishes of the Okeefenokee
Swamp" . You could insert different plants and fish in the description
and it would illustrate the picture of many of americas lowlands and
expansive swamps. The okee has many of the same species of fish as the
pine barrens, so you could learn about the fish themselves. I got this
book from Patricia Ledlie, so I dont know where it could be found now. it
is small, line drawings, and cheap. Packed with good information.
