NANFA-- Longevity of Florida Flagfish

I obtained a pair of flagfish (Jordanella floridae) in Oct 1998 that arrived
as stowaways in a sample of aquatic plants. In the last few weeks, they
have become more sedentary and I assume senescent.

Most references on flagfish focus on aquarium care and breeding and not on
longevity. I have not seen life history studies but assumed that the fish
was an annual in nature.

How long do these fish normally live?
