That is the other most important thing, keeping out contaminants. That was
a big reason for my fish kill last year. I had netting up a little too late
in fall, and cleaned the ponds out. I then removed the netting too early,
and mid november came a hurricane like storm that blew in the neighbore
leaves. This year I left the killi ponds netting on, and the gar pond I took
off at the last minute.
