I got a bunch of corkscrew val from Charles Anderton last summer
and planted them in my 75 gal which only has an 80 watt fixture.
By the end of the year they had just about taken over my tank.
This tank has a UGF. It is also in a room that gets quite abit
of sunlight. I have made transplants to my 125 and 40.
They have not done near as well...YET. I'm waiting to see if
once the water temp comes up that they will take off---at
least in my 125. I've been more happy with these plants in a
low light condition than any I have come across so far.
The UGF doesn't seem to be a factor with these plants.
