Klaus,
The 300 is doing pretty good. Have a bunch of minnows and three
bristlenose plecos for algae control in it.Had a severe algae problem until
I added the bristlenose as it gets a lot of morning light.Have blunt-nose
minnows, northern red-bellied dace, black-nosed dace, Fundulus notatus,
fat-head minnows and a couple of unidentified shiners in it.I haven't caught
them at it but I think the blunt-nose are slowly eating the red-bellies as
they are slowly dwindling. The red-bellies are 1 1/2 " long and some of the
blunt-nose are a good 5".Been toying with runing cold water in to chill the
tank ala the way Pat was doing with his darter tank. Haven't figured out how
to make it idiot proof in case the power goes out.Hoping to make a trip this
spring to Jorsy for black-bands and maybe some mountain red-bellies on the
way home.

Jim
