I got into a big argument with my 5th grade teacher 40 years ago. because
she didn't believe that they shed their skin. When a shell appeared in the
tank holding the 2 specimens I had put in the classroom fishtank, she
thought that one had eaten the other. I told her that one doubtless had
escaped and the other shed its skin. I hated it when people thought they
knew more about stuff like that than I did. I still do.
I had a lot of problems in 5th grade.
