NANFA-- A little Respect for the Flier - Centrarchus macropterus

I have one individual flier in my tank. I've had it almost a year now.
It is a great fish. It's good looking and has a good community
disposition. It eats virtually anything. Has anyone had an opportunity
to work with these fish? Breeding requirements etc.? What are some of
its quirks, tendencies etc (natural history). It looks a little like a
crappie but doesn't get near as big. I've had him in a tank with
darters and Fundulus blairae for most of this time. This is a photo
