Ghost shrimp are some of the least sensitive creatures I"ve ever found....
They're probably the only animal I can think of that can get tossed from
acidic water to a reef tank without batting an eye (so to speak.)

Ideally, a pH of about 7.0-7.6 would seem to be the best idea, a little on
the high side, which would laos likely go with harder water, which will
benefit their shells.
