And it's unfortunate that it's less common. I found just the opposite was
true about coral and macroalgae interaction. No, you don't put reef crest
species in with macro because they're two totally different habitats.
Acropora gemmifera and humilis did not evolve with dense algaes in mind.
But then again, who the heck can provide for reef crest animals in a tank
over the long term? But with soft coral and LPS and reef flat and back reef
species of SPS, (read: the more appropriate species for aquaria) oh my gosh
they jammed. All that extra food hovering around them. Yum Yum.

Oh and that part where you introduce tangs _after_ it's all established and
let them harvest it. Now that's just plain tasty :)

It really is a shame I developed my allergy. I do miss the little beasties.
I think I'm going to need to come for a visit here soon Nick.
