However, I will warn that hornwort is the only plant I'm having any success
keeping with a sump. The anacharis, jungle val and java fern look like crap
in the tank at MV. I think it blows too much CO2 off.

That may not be a problem tho. But I think a good amount of plants are
going to need that CO2, _esp_ if you're going to use intense light. That's
a cyano bloom waiting to happen.

Might want to consider. Worst case scenario is... You set it all up and
then it really doesn't work and you just drain it below the overflow. Then
you can use the sump as a "water delivery mechanism" :)

I'd use those propellor water mover things too instead of a pump... No heat
and it really moves a volume. Can't think of what they're called....
