I almost miss water that cold, Rick. People here in 'bama talk about some of
the mountain streams being so cold, but I haven't found one yet that I
thought was cold. Even in August Cape Cod Bay is cold enough to take my
breath away upon jumping in.

I was curious about the fishes you found--no silversides? This time of year
I'd think you'd have caught embarrasing numbers of them, most quickly dead.
