ive caught a few of these fellas in dark ditches on the florida panhandle. as
ray says they are a stunning fish. big 1.5" males w/ electric color. fun to
watch while snorkling too... as ive also found them deep in vegatation in a
clear lake along the edge... w/ swamp darters and gambusia. they just seem to
hover about. ive had a lot of trouble keeping them alive but have learned a
few tricks... salt being the big one. once im established in the new house i
want to attempt rays breeding exercise. very pretty.
