After review with "the boss", I think I'm going to be able to make it !!! (Barring unexpected events, of course.)
Haven't done any serious looking into the logistics of the trip yet. However, MapQuest tells me it's 593 miles from my place to Double Springs ... so I'm thinking probably this isn't just a day trip. <g>
